LASER-ACUPUNCTURE (In Smoking Cessation)
Using the specially designed laser equipment with
"Acu-point" locator, we are able to locate
and treat the acupuncture points necessary very precisely
in a short space of time. It is a very important feature
of laser-acupuncture that all the neccessary "Acupuncture
Points" can be operated quickly, accurately,
painlessly, free of any needle phobia's that many
people have, and the reason often enough, why they
have not considered having acupuncture before.
The laser set at the correct frequency, power, and
time has the effect of stimulating the T/point in
much the same way as traditional acupuncture with
needles or acupressure with vacuum pads,
The points we use in the laser treatment are numerous
(approx 38) My own combination of these points arrives
from the study of acupuncture points to rectify a
number of conditions not just the physical side of
smoking, ie: de-tox, endorphin level increase, cleansing
of liver, lungs, sinus, gall bladder, thyroid and
kidneys. These points assist the body in coping/relieving
stress associated with addiction withdrawal's.
I would like to point out that we must first recognise
what smoking is so we are better equipped to deal
with it... ADDICTION. And make no mistake,
it is an addiction no different to any other, like
drugs, alcohol and substance abuse.
Smoking in the past has rarely been recognised as
an addiction, an addiction to nicotine, which has
been one of the most difficult to overcome, mainly
because over the years, strangely enough it is one
of the worlds most readily accepted and legalised
drug, and until recently, socially welcomed, is it
any wonder that until now it has been the most difficult
drug to get rid of and quit for good.
Unlike many other drugs, cigarettes have a huge amount
of by-products along with the nicotine, like Tar,
Phosphates, Chemical Salts, Carcinogens. The list
is nearly a hundred toxic compounds, these are deposited
around the human body in the liver, kidneys, bladder,
thyroid and all the other organs of the body through
blood vessels, and although most people only consider
the lungs when they think of cigarettes, the fact
is it affects the whole of the human body, from the
hair on your head to the nails on your toe. The full
results of smoking are only recently becoming more
obvious to scientists and the medical profession.
